There’s nothing quite like finding the right fit. Whether it’s shoes that fit your feet perfectly, jeans that you can move in or even a container that meets your storage needs today and saves a little wiggle room for tomorrow.
At Simple Box, we want to help you find the perfect fit. We realize that each individual or business has various storage needs – that is why we offer a personalized approach to storage. You should have access to the storage you need in a budget you can afford. We offer 10, 20 and 40ft containers depending on your space needs. When determining which container size is the right fit for you, it is important to consider the following items.
Table of Contents
Is a 10ft container right for you?
Our 10ft containers are 8 feet 6 inches tall on the outside, which produces 7 feet 8-inch tall interior storage space. This may be a great option for you if you need your storage space to have more security and durability than a shed. Individuals often purchase this type of storage for the purpose of a shed, guard shack, custom office container, pop-up shop or food stall, greenhouse, workShop or art studio. Because of their compact size, the 10ft container requires the least amount of room to deliver.
Is a 20ft Container right for you?
Our 20ft containers are the most popular option because of their size and storage capacity. At 160 square feet, these containers can fit the contents of most 2-3 bedroom homes and fit in a single parking space! This container is often chosen for Moving Your Home or Business, Custom Office Space, Job Site Storage or Workshop. In addition, the 20ft container is the most common size for conversions into a simple, yet functional site office. While the majority of 20ft containers come with standard cargo doors; some containers feature roll-up doors. Individuals have been modifying these containers for years with people doors, windows with security bars, LED overhead lights, duplex outlets, 3 tiers of sturdy shelves and a lockbox for added security.
Is a 40ft Container right for you?
Our 40ft container may be the right fit for you if you are needing more space – at 320 square feet, it is a lower cost per square foot than the 10 and 20ft containers. For a visual comparison, this container is about the size of a 2 car garage and can hold 4 standard sized vehicles bumper to bumper. Individuals often select this larger container (double the size of the most popular container) for moving a larger home (beyond 3 bedrooms) or modifying into a container home.
