Eligibility for Returns

At Get Simple Box, we are committed to providing quality shipping containers and ensuring your satisfaction. If you need to return a container, please review our return policy below:

Cancellations:

If you need to cancel your order, please do so by 4 PM EST on the same day you place it, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

To cancel an order, call Customer Service at 1-855-855-4269  Please be aware that if you cancel your order after it has been delivered, you will incur a restocking fee as well as pick up charges.

Returns and Cancellations:

  • Returns for cancellations must be initiated within 24 hours of delivery. Delivery and pick-up fees are non-refundable.
  • Rent may only be refunded if the cancellation is due to an error on the part of Get Simple Box. In most cases, the first month’s rent is non-refundable once the container has been delivered.

 

End of Rental:

  • To return a rental container, a written 5-day notice is required before the end of the rental term.
  • Failure to provide written notice will result in the forfeiture of any deposits and/or prepaid rent.
  • The last month’s rent will not be pro-rated.

 

Condition of Returned Container (Rental):

  • The renter must return the container empty, clean, and in good condition, suitable for immediate reuse.
  • If the container requires cleaning, repairs, or maintenance upon return, the renter will be responsible for the costs, including additional rental charges for the time needed to complete the repairs.

 

Abandoned Property (Rental):

  • Any property left in the container may be removed, stored, or disposed of by Get Simple Box at the renter’s risk and expense.

Return of Purchased Containers:

  • All equipment is sold “as is” and “where is,” unless otherwise noted.

  • Returns of purchased containers must be initiated within 3 days of delivery. Delivery and pick-up fees are non-refundable.

 

Refund and Restocking Fees:

  • For standard One-trip and Cargo-worthy containers, a 20% restocking fee will be charged if the container is returned in good working order.
  • Special-order or customized containers are not eligible for return. However, they may be placed into Get Simple Box’s consignment program at the company’s discretion.

  • The purchaser must return the container empty, clean, and in good condition, suitable for immediate reuse.
  • If the container requires cleaning, repairs, or maintenance upon return, the purchaser will be responsible for the costs, including additional charges for the time needed to complete repairs.

 

Abandoned Property (Purchased):

  • Any property left in the container may be removed, stored, or disposed of by Get Simple Box at the purchaser’s risk and expense.

Return Steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team at 1-855-855-4269 to initiate the return process.
  2. Obtain Authorization: We will provide you with a Return Release Number, which must be referenced on all communication regarding the returned container.
  3. Arrange Return Delivery: You are responsible for the cost and arrangement of return delivery, ensuring it is done in a timely manner.
  4. Inspection: Once the container is returned, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the return criteria.
  5. Complete the Return: After the container passes inspection, your refund will be processed.
    • Refunds will be processed within 14 days after the inspection is complete.
    • A restocking fee of 20% may apply for returned containers.
    • You are responsible for the cost of return delivery and ensuring timely arrangements for the return. 

Exclusions:

  • Custom containers or special orders are non-refundable.
  • Containers returned after the specified return period will not be eligible for a refund.

COMMON BILLING QUESTIONS

RENTALS – REGULAR RENTALS

Your first Payment includes: 

  1. Your first Delivery
  2. One Month Rental
  3. Empty Pickup when you are all done

 

RENTALS – MOVING (OR IF ADDITIONAL TRUCKING IS NEEDED)

 Your first Payment may also include:

  1. Transportation cost for the Move to your next Place (if details provided)
  2. Any on-site Storage fees (if applicable)
  3. Final Empty Container Pick up (if details provided)

 

PAYMENT METHOD

All We need a credit card on file, and each payment is due at the time service is rendered. The card on file will be charged unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

 

RENTAL TERM

Rent is just month-to-month and you can keep the box as long as you like.  

 

SALES – REGULAR SALES

  • If we have a payment method on file, we can schedule your delivery and process payment on the same day. 
  • If you are not ready for delivery, but would like to “hold” the Box, we can process payment for the purchase of the Box and bill for delivery at the time of delivery.  

SALES – MODIFICATIONS

We can schedule a Container Modification (add windows, doors, etc.) with: 

  • a minimum 50% Deposit on the Project
  • approved Drawings/Spec sheet
