About Lynden’s Christmas Parade:

Lynden-Sinterklaas-lighted-Christmas-Parade-Simple-Box-entryThey say many hands make light work, but in this case it took many hands to make the lights work!  We’re so thankful for Lynden Chamber of Commerce and the Lynden Police for all of the effort they put into this special event. The Lynden Lighted Christmas parade is held on the first Saturday at December, featuring 50+ extravagantly decorated floats designed and decorated by local businesses and non-profit groups. It is a fun event for the whole family and attracts visitors from all over Whatcom county as well as Abbotsford, Langley and Vancouver, B.C.  At Simple Box, we love our hometown and we are committed to making a difference in part by being involved in the local events that help put our town on the map.

How to make a Storage Container look like a Christmas Present:

Simple-Box-Storage-at-Lynden-Lighted-Christmas-ParadeIt takes a lot of people to make a parade work and it takes a lot of lights to make a Simple Box shipping container look like a giant Christmas gift! We used 4 Shipping Containers, over 8,000 lights, 400 feet of extension cords, and two great generators to light it all up! We are so thankful for the host of volunteers and people who lined the parade route in spite of the cold weather tonight. We are also thankful for great team members who washed trucks in the freezing weather and went through all the effort to decorate our trucks and Boxes. The trucks turned out great and highlighted Simple Box’s image of being clean, simple and cheerful!
