Frequently Asked Questions
Find quick answers to your storage questions in Ellensburg. We offer flexible on-site storage, easy rental terms, and professional delivery—perfect for moving, business, or job site needs. Get clear, local help from the experts at Get Simple Box of Ellensburg.
Where can I find shipping containers for sale or rent near Ellensburg, WA?
Get Simple Box of Ellensburg is located right in the heart of Central Washington. We provide local inventory and delivery for Kittitas County and the Yakima Valley, ensuring you aren’t paying “long-haul” shipping rates from Seattle or Spokane.
What areas do you deliver to from your Ellensburg container yard?
We provide fast delivery throughout Kittitas County (Ellensburg, Cle Elum, Roslyn) and Yakima County (Yakima, Selah, Naches). We also coordinate deliveries to Grant County (Quincy, Ephrata) and Chelan County (Leavenworth) for residential and commercial projects.
Can I come and see the containers before I decide?
Absolutely. We encourage customers to visit our Ellensburg yard. Seeing our 10ft, 20ft, and 40ft options in person helps you choose the right grade—whether you need a “New” one-trip box for a clean look or a “Used” wind-and-watertight unit for a farm.
Are shipping containers durable enough for Central Washington winters?
Yes. Our containers are built from heavy-duty corten steel, specifically designed to be wind and water-tight. They easily handle the heavy snow loads in Snoqualmie Pass and the high winds common in the Kittitas Valley.
How much space is needed for a container delivery in Yakima?
For a 20ft container, we generally need about 60 feet of straight-line clearance. For a 40ft container, we need roughly 100 feet. Our local drivers are experts at navigating the tighter residential streets in Yakima and the open acreage in Thorp or Kittitas.
Do you provide storage solutions for farms and ranches in Kittitas County?
We do. Many of our neighbors in Thorp and Kittitas use our 20ft and 40ft boxes for secure tack rooms, hay storage, and equipment protection. They are a “mouse-proof” and weather-proof alternative to traditional wood sheds.
What makes Get Simple Box different from national container brokers?
When you call us, you’re talking to someone in Ellensburg, not a call center. Because we own our trucks and our inventory, we offer more predictable delivery times and “no-surprise” pricing for our Central Washington customers.
Can I place a shipping container on my residential property in Cle Elum?
In most cases, yes. Containers are often treated as temporary structures. However, we always recommend checking with Cle Elum or Roslyn city planning, as local HOA or zoning rules can vary by neighborhood.
Do you offer containers for construction sites in Selah or Union Gap?
Yes. We frequently provide secure, on-site tool and material storage for job sites across Yakima County. Our “Get Simple” system makes it easy to schedule a drop-off at the start of a project and a pick-up once you’re finished.
How fast can I get a container delivered to my home or business?
Because our yard is local to Ellensburg, we can typically deliver within 1–3 business days. We pride ourselves on being the most responsive container supplier in the 98926 and 98901 zip codes.
