Returns, Cancellations & Container Pick-Up

Below you’ll find everything you need to know about cancellations, rental endings, container condition requirements, refunds, and the steps to complete a return. Our goal is to keep the process simple, transparent, and stress-free.

Returns & Cancellations

Returns or cancellations must be initiated within 24 hours of delivery. Delivery and pick-up fees are non-refundable. Returns accepted for defective products only.

Rent will only be refunded if the cancellation is due to an error made by Get Simple Box. In most cases, the first month’s rent becomes non-refundable once the container has been delivered.

Ending Your Rental

To return a rental container, you must provide written notice at least 5 days before the end of your rental term.

Failure to submit written notice will result in the forfeiture of any deposits and/or prepaid rent. The final month’s rent is not prorated.

Rental Container Condition Requirements

Rental containers must be returned empty, clean, and in good condition, ready for immediate reuse.

If cleaning, repairs, or maintenance are required, the renter will be responsible for all related costs, including additional rental charges for the time needed to complete the repairs.

Abandoned Property – Rentals

Any items left inside the container may be removed, stored, or disposed of at the renter’s risk and expense.

Purchased Container Returns

All containers are sold “as is” and “where is,” unless otherwise noted.

Returns of purchased containers must be initiated within 3 days of delivery. Delivery and pick-up fees are non-refundable.

Refunds & Restocking Fees

For standard One-Trip and Cargo-Worthy containers, a 20% restocking fee will be applied if the container is returned in good working condition.

Special-order or customized containers are not eligible for return. At Get Simple Box’s discretion, they may be placed into our consignment program.

Purchased Container Condition Requirements

Return Steps

Returning a container with Get Simple Box is straightforward. Follow the steps below to request authorization, arrange return delivery, and complete the inspection process so your return can be processed as quickly as possible.

1. Contact Us

2. Receive Authorization

You will be issued a Return Release Number, which must be included in all communication regarding your return.

3. Arrange Return Delivery

You are responsible for coordinating and paying for return delivery and ensuring the container is returned on time.

4. Inspection

Once received, our team will inspect the container to confirm it meets return requirements.

5. Return Completed

If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 days after inspection.
