Although we are a container company, our real mission is to make a difference. This Christmas, our teams are stepping up in a big way. We’re all about supporting orphans and widows, teaming up with local non-profit ministries, and sprinkling a little extra holiday cheer wherever we can. It’s not just business for us; it’s about building a community of compassion. After all, it’s not just about what’s in the box; it’s about the impact it leaves on hearts. Let’s find out more about how our teams are making a difference this Christmas:
The Vina Moses Center – Salem, OR
The Vina Moses Center works with volunteers to bring 1,000 meals and thousands of gifts to children in need during the holidays.
We donated a 20 foot Shipping Container for them to store the donations in and we are also busy buying Christmas gifts for kids in need.
Our Salem container team cares about this ministry because we really believe in everything they do throughout the year to help less fortunate families and we are excited to partner with them to help make Christmas brighter for these kids in our community.

Christmas in the Park – Phoenix, AZ
We are excited to help bring Christmas in the Park to families in Surprise, AZ. This free event features a Christmas Concert, Ice Skating, Bounce Houses, and SNOW! For many people, this special time will meet not only their physical needs, but their emotional and spiritual needs as well.
Our Phoenix container team is just a small part of making this event happen by donating two 20 foot Shipping Container Rentals to help the team from The Gathering store and secure the items needed for the event and we’ll be at the event as well!
If you would like to join us for Christmas in the Park or learn more about how you can support this great event.
Martha’s Village & Kitchen – Palm Springs, CA
For the past 34 years, Martha’s Village & Kitchen has been working to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty in the Coachella Valley.
Our Palm Springs container team is donating to help provide food for the homeless this Christmas. We are also aware that ministries such as this have a tremendous need for our hands and not just our hearts (or our wallets). Donating a 20 foot Shipping Container and our time is one of the best ways to see the ministry first hand, get to know our neighbors, and be blessed as we serve alongside others. We strongly urge you to join us in volunteering this Christmas and throughout the year.

The Gift of Grub and Project Hope Food Bank – Lynden and Burlington, WA
Our Lynden and Burlington teams have been busy with multiple charitable giving projects at the end of the year, including a fundraiser for bikes for kids in partnership with the refinery at Cherry Point, and a supply drive for the NW Fire Rescue teams. Additionally, we are inviting people in Whatcom and Skagit county to join with us in filling a 20 foot Shipping Container full of food to restock the Project Hope food bank and the Bellingham Food bank through the “Gift of Grub.”
For each item donated, we are giving a raffle ticket for a chance to win a $250 Gift card! To join us visit our Lynden office.
Get Simple Box commitment goes beyond the steel and walls that make up our products. This Christmas, we are proud to share how our teams across different locations are actively engaging with their communities to make a meaningful impact.
This holiday season, we encourage everyone to join us in these efforts. Whether it’s supporting local events, volunteering your time, or contributing to charitable causes, the impact we can collectively create goes far beyond the contents of a shipping container. Together, let’s make this Christmas a season of warmth, kindness, and genuine care for one another. After all, it’s not just about what’s in the box; it’s about the lasting impact we leave on the hearts of those in need. Contact any of our team members if you have any questions, we are happy to answer.
