Mark Harrison (Co-owner of the Phoenix location) and Cher Harrison are married, and they are the sister and brother-in-law of Get Simple Box CEO, Ross Black. Additionally, Mark and Cher’s daughter, Breille, is the new regional manager of Get Simple Box Phoenix.
- Because of their family ties, wins are celebrated together and there is an element of connection that goes beyond that of coworkers.
- The Get Simple Box Phoenix team shares that, although the other yards are located in Washington State and Oregon, they still feel extremely connected to their coworkers.
- Cher and Brielle, who are two of the newest Get Simple Box team members, shared that their love for spending time with their family has carried over into their work life, and that has been such a blessing in keeping their family bond very strong.
- Get Simple Box of Phoenix has developed excellent relationships with large companies in their area. Many of those companies have even decided to switch their storage/moving services from large national corporations to Get Simple Box for the personal family-style service they received.
- Cher Harrison shared that they pride themselves on having a small town feel, in a very large city. While Phoenix is an extremely populated area, they have worked hard to establish themselves in the area as a reliable and outstanding company.
Get Simple Box of Phoenix loves to partner with local organizations and churches.- Recently, Get Simple Box of Phoenix partnered with the Tempe Healing Field 9/11 Memorial. At this event, 3,000 flags are planted to honor those lost in the devastation of 9/11. Get Simple Box donates the use of one of their containers to store all of the flags on site until the next memorial event.
- Similarly, Get Simple Box of Phoenix donated a large container to store donated bicycles for a local church’s annual bicycle drive. Each year bicycles are donated and placed in a Simple Box container and later dispersed to foster children in the area.
- The Get Simple Box Phoenix team feels blessed to have the ability to serve their local community, and they continue to do so through annual monetary donations to local charities.
- When asked if there was a particular customer that they remembered serving, the team recounted multiple instances of families who have lost a loved one and needed assistance in tying up loose ends/storing their personal belongings. They recall feeling a need to protect and care for their customer as they navigated such a difficult transition.
- Cher shared that one of the most important things about Get Simple Box and this industry is that we are typically assisting people through a relatively large life change. Whether that be moving, a job change, a loss of a loved one, etc. She added that they pride themselves on care taking and providing security during a potentially unsettling time.

Many times, they meet individuals who have just earned their dream job or purchased their first home and are thrilled to have help and support when transitioning to their new area.

Whether that be a family heirloom, pictures, or items left behind by a family member who has passed away.
