Below you’ll find important details about how our services work — from delivery and billing to customer responsibilities. We encourage you to review each section so you know exactly what to expect when renting, buying, or moving with Get Simple Box.
Acceptance of terms
CUSTOMER SHALL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS UPON THE EARLIEST OCCURRENCE OF:
Scheduling delivery services;
Use or acceptance thereof;
Initial Payment for any Sale or Rental; or
Acknowledgment or other conduct of Customer indicating acceptance.
By proceeding with delivery, payment, or use of our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Entire Agreement
This agreement and these Terms & Conditions constitute the sole and only agreement between the parties. This agreement cannot be amended, altered, or abridged in any paragraph.
No subsequent oral agreement between any employee of Get Simple Box or the customer shall have any bearing whatsoever on this agreement.
This written agreement represents the full understanding between Get Simple Box and the customer. No verbal or side agreements are valid unless confirmed in writing by Get Simple Box.
Delivery Terms
COMMON DELIVERY QUESTIONS
To ensure a safe delivery, please make sure the ground is hard-packed gravel or some other improved surface (asphalt, concrete, etc.), there are no low-hanging wires, and you have enough space for the truck to pull forward from the back of the box.
If the delivery area is on a bit of a slope, we recommend getting some gravel or several 12-inch 4×6 treated lumber blocks to help get the Box level and allow airflow underneath. We do not recommend railroad ties as they are often uneven and heavy. Containers are made to carry all of the weight at the corners, so all you need is a block under each corner (drivers carry some dunnage on the trucks).
Space Needed for Delivery Access:
For a 20’ Box: 70 feet of space for the truck to pull forward in a straight line.
For a 40’ Box: 140 feet of space for the truck and trailer to pull forward in a straight line.
Delivery Timing:
Our delivery team runs from 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday. We appreciate at least 3 days’ notice when possible, but we will always do our best to meet your preferred delivery day.
You do not need to be present for delivery or pickup as long as the area is clear and marked (some customers use a cone, chair, or rock to show where to place the container). Drivers will call or text when they are on the way.
If Delivery Cannot Be Completed:
If a site is not suitable, the driver will do their best to find an alternate nearby location. Deliveries include up to 30 minutes on-site for loading/unloading and securing the container. Additional time is billed at $100/hour. Any towing or repair costs due to insufficient site conditions will be billed to the customer.

Billing & Payment
COMMON BILLING QUESTIONS
RENTALS – REGULAR RENTALS
Your first payment includes:
Delivery
One Month Rental
Empty Pickup when you are done
RENTALS – MOVING (OR ADDITIONAL TRUCKING)
Your first payment may also include:
Transportation for moving to your next location
On-site storage fees (if applicable)
Final empty container pickup (if details provided)
PAYMENT METHOD
A credit card is required on file, and each payment is due at the time service is rendered. The card on file will be charged unless other arrangements are made in advance.
RENTAL TERM
Rentals are month-to-month. You may keep the Box as long as needed.
SALES – REGULAR SALES
If a payment method is on file, delivery and payment can be processed on the same day.
If you’d like to “hold” a Box, payment can be processed for the purchase, and delivery will be billed separately when scheduled.
SALES – MODIFICATIONS
Container modifications (adding doors, windows, etc.) can be scheduled with:
A minimum 50% deposit
Approved drawings/spec sheet
Liability & Responsability
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
The customer is responsible for ensuring safe and accessible delivery conditions.
Containers must be placed on firm, level ground.
Any towing, delay, or damage caused by unsafe or obstructed sites will be billed to the customer.
Containers remain property of Get Simple Box until paid in full (for purchases).
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Get Simple Box is not liable for damage to surfaces, driveways, lawns, or underground utilities during standard delivery or pickup when reasonable care is used.
Updates to these terms
Get Simple Box reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Here are some of the most common questions we get about our containers, deliveries, and rentals terms and conditions.
Can I move the container once it’s been delivered?
No. Once the container is placed by our driver, it should not be moved by anyone other than Get Simple Box. Moving it yourself may cause damage or safety issues and will void any delivery-related warranties.
How do I schedule a pickup when I’m done with my container?
Simply call or text our service line at 1-855-855-4269 or email service@getsimplebox.com. We’ll schedule your pickup as soon as possible, usually within 3–5 business days.
What if I need my container longer than expected?
No problem! Rentals are billed month-to-month, so you can keep your container as long as you need. We’ll continue monthly billing automatically until you request pickup.
Are there any items I’m not allowed to store in the container?
Yes. Hazardous materials such as fuel, paint, flammable liquids, explosives, or illegal substances are strictly prohibited. Please store only dry, non-hazardous goods.
What happens if my property is damaged during delivery or pickup?
Our drivers take great care during every delivery. However, Get Simple Box is not responsible for damage to lawns, driveways, or surfaces that occur during normal delivery or pickup when reasonable care is used.
Can I cancel or reschedule my delivery?
Yes. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a rescheduling or cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations may be subject to additional charges once the truck is in route.
Who is responsible for container contents during the rental period?
The customer is responsible for securing and insuring any items stored inside the container. Get Simple Box does not provide coverage for personal or business property stored within the unit.
What if I need a container modification or repair?
Contact our team to discuss modification options or to schedule service. Some repairs may be billable depending on the cause of the damage.
